A downloadable game for Windows

CORE is an indie Sci-Fi themed FPS DOOM-like where the player takes on the role of a scientist within an now alien infested facility. Armed with nothing but a plasma gun, the player must blast their way through the hordes of alien invaders, platform their way through the facility, and reach the core of the entire base in order to detonate it.

This version of the game is a prototype and isn't the most polished. Please feel free to report any glitches or bugs to me at my email Lillybareham01@gmail.com, and feel free to let me know how you found the game overall. This is very much a prototype for a genre I want to explore more in the future so feedback is always appreciated. Thank you!

I want to also provide credit to HONK III, another DOOM-like which allows the use of their assets for other games. A large portion of the level was created using these assets, alongside several props and the main weapon.

This game was created as one of my third year university projects, and thus may not be the most optimized or may potentially have some high memory usage. Sadly, theres not much I can do about this but I do hope it doesn't distract too heavily from the game overall. This was one of the first full games I've ever made and it shows but Im still proud regardless!

Thank you for having a look at the page and I hope you have a good time with this prototype!
